Jämtlands Triangeln, Sweden 13'

This was our first time to “Jämtlandsfjällen” in Sweden so the chosen trek was one of the classic route in the area called Jämtlands triangeln. This route start at the Storulvån Cabins and end at the same place. Intermediate resting places are at Sylarna and Blåhammar cabins. Fjällräven Classic, Sweden 12'

Back again after five years to walk in the competitive trek know as Fjällräven Classic. The trek takes place in the northern parts of the Swedish Mountains and starts at Nikkaluokta and ends at Abisko tourist station. It is a 110 kilometer long walk along the King´s trail. Ben Nevis, Scotland 11'

For this years main hiking event we traveled to the Scottish Highlands to walk on the Great Glen Way. We did not walk the entire route but rather chose to walk between Inverness and Fort Augustus. This part of the trek where close to the well know lake called Loch Ness. We had high hopes to see ‘Nessy’. From Fort Augustus we travelled by bus to Fort William where we stayed for three days. One of theses days we managed to reach the top of the highest mountain in Scotland, Ben Nevis. I must say that it is well worth the effort. Jotunheimen, Norway 10'

Our first trek in Norway with one concrete goal in our minds — conquer the highest mountain in Norway, as well as in all of Scandinavia, Galdhøpiggen. This time the start and goal positions where at opposite sides of the lake Gjende. The cabins we visited on this route where, in order: Gjendesheim, Glitterheim, Spiterstulen and Gjendebu. Kungsleden, Sweden 09'

Returning to Kungsleden and the route trekked during Fjällräven Classic with a new goal in mind, to conquer the highest mountain in Sweden - Kebnekaise.
